this thing is like losing virginity all over again...
except that this time it's actually pleasant...

i think i've never owned an all-original old guitar. and never one that was professionally set up.
this thing plays itself.
man imagine the potential in all the other stuff that i've played all these years, with worn out frets, faulty electronics, buzzing everythings, and all that.
i deserved it.
and it cost me just a bit more than an AVRI.
God made me lucky. i owe him now.
but in the meanwhile, i rule.

Fucking HELL Pat - it's like you have a super power. Instead of flying, or super strength, or making people defaecate themselves with only a thought...your super power is to attract, find and buy jaw droppingly awesome guitars of high mojo quotient.
Serious point: Given the huge number of awesome photos you have taken over the years, a website with a gallery (or even a glossy book!) of all of them would be a seriously killer thing. That goes for Westtexasred too!

That's lovely Pat, although I've somehow missed your thread about picking up that thinline: that's just about my dream guitar. I know people always do this in your threads, and while I think it's rather unbecoming, i call ultimate dibs if you ever sell that tele. I'd sell all my guitars to have that one. Lovely.

you have 2 very beautiful guitars. My search at the moment would put both of those at the top if I had the budget (especially the tele). you are a lucky man, enjoy their sweetness Pat

Yeah that jazzmaster is perfect ... Exactly the same color and pretty much the same kind of ageing as my '76 mustang ... There's really something about the vintage white Fenders from that period ...
