DAMNIT MARTIN & CO!!!!

YOU FUCKING HACKS.
The ONE Martin instrument I liked was the S-O ukulele. It was solid mahogany throughout, set-up well. It was $300, but was the only ukulele I had ever played with perfect intonation. Sounded wonderful - a real instrument, not just a hipster toy. So tonight I'm at home, adding up the resale value of my unused pedals, and I think "hey, I could get that!"
FUCKING DISCONTINUED. The one proper, solid wood, traditionally constructed instrument they made under $1000 and it's GONE.
This is what we get:

Virtually the same price, but made of FUCKING PLYWOOD. FUCKING. PLYWOOD. Even the neck is that pink "stratabond" plywood, and lets not forget shitty "morado" iron wood fittings.
HOW IN THE HOLY MOTHER OF ASS DOES A PLYWOOD UKULELE COST $300?!?!?!? That's basically the same as the Baby Taylor, which is MIA, solid top, mahogany neck, ebony fittings, and also 5X the size.
THEY ARE GETTING A LETTER IN THE MAIL.
