mother load

Post by cur »

Stumbled upon the mother load of 66's today. Two 66 mustangs, dakota red not shown, a 66 music master and a 66 Duo. I did a triple take at first.

And it's like 70 degrees out today.

Everyone else, have fun shut in with your guitars in the snow.

I am in Raleigh NC. That is at Guru guitars. I love that place. It always amazes me what they have in there. And they are super cool (well they put up with me and my deformed guitars). They do the work on my guitars that I don't trust myself to do.

I went in today to order a set of fluorescent pink strings for my metallic green guitar and they didn't even bat an eye. They even knew what guitar I was putting them on.

I lived in Raleigh for 3 years and never went there. How did I manage that?

Looks like I'll stop in next time I visit my parents.

It's a newer shop. I think they only started up 2, maybe 3 years ago tops.
