Got to work to find this waiting for me:

I just need to try it out later now and take some better pics of it. First impressions are that the neck is chunkier than I expected but in a good way. The wear and tear is cool as well. I need to take a look at a few more things to ascertain the correct year of it.

Awesome! :D

Looks like a handsome beast, surprised how tidy it looks. The arm looks a bit funny though, is that the photo?

Very nice! I thought JMs had black pickguards by then, but guess that was later.

On 70s JMs, I love the look of David McComb's jazzy here:

Looks like it is in pretty good nick, and B&B neck!

Very swanky. I love the chunkier necks (B&D are thicker than non bound like my '66 Jag, and B&B even more so like Hurbs '69 Jag)

This is the one good one before I start selling ludicrous fakes, just to lull you into a false sense of security.

SEND NO MONY NOW.

That's great looking. As we've talked about before I'm not really a fan of sunbursts but on something like that how can you not like it.

Thanks guys, I will take better photos later hopefully and some more of the trem arm as I think the angle on that one is a bit awkward. I'm just counting down the hours to when I can get it home and plug it in and see what it sounds like

And, in turn, Drasp, sometimes of this parish, was the original dealfinder, so credit where credit's due...

another couple of quick shots, one of the trem as well:

and here is an advert from the early 70s so the arm does look bent.

All original apart from the jack apparently. I want to get the neck and pickguard off to see the date stamp's, the serial number puts it early 72.

I like the bendy arm - a fairly common, and sensible (if it feels right to the player) modification.
