Went to pick up a blacktop jazzmaster and saw this:

It sounds incredible. I had heard these were good amps. A friend of mine kept saying that they were practical and well made, so I pulled the trigger.
I like the sound with the volume on 12 and the master at 1.5. Really gritty but transparent. I want to use it in stereo with my champion 600 on bust. Mwa ha ha.

it amazes me when people go in shops and try guitars and they love the way they sound. it's not the guitar that sounds great most of the time its the amp. I have taken my amp in a couple of times if they don't have mine or something similarto try guitars out but a lot of the time I've walked away thinking more about the amp than the guitar.

Nice snag there, they are lush amps, which version is this one? also cool colour as well

much the same way as when i go to try out an amp i take in my own guitars as often places just don't have what i usually play in stock to test out amps with.

Nice score; those are great amps. The Blues Junior I own was my first tube amp, and it's been great to me.

If you ever feel like modifying it, there's a fellow by the name of Bill Machrone who has established himself as the expert on mods for the Blues Junior. There's a ton of information on his site.

thanks!

@serfx : Yea I brought my jazzy with me, as I was also gonna test a DRRI against a Vibrolux. Then I decided that 15w was plenty and that the MBM Salt Shaker was a sick enough tremolo, that I wouldn't need the "tube tremolo" on the DRRI or the Vibrolux.

cheers.

Great video. Does this have a Celestion Vintage 30 like the other FSR BJs? If so, that makes it an even better deal.

I really have no idea. It sounds good either way.
I got to go open up shop now and work for the day.
Will make a better video when I get home today.
This doesn't really show the amp off as much as it shows off my stoned ass.
