Got offered a 12 String, 1979 Epiphone El Dorado, made in Japan. Anybody have any experiences with these.

I'm surprised that it's not a bolt on neck, I thought all 70's Epi acoustics were. I owned a 70's FT-150, and it was a really nice guitar. What are trading for it?

He wanted $125. He was supposed to mail me back a price for the guitar and a bunch of broken bolt on necks. They seem to sell for about $150 - $250. I'm not a 12 string kinda guy... I'd buy it if someone wanted to buy it off of me.

Hell. Id give you that for it as long as the neck/action is payable. That is the thing with old 12 strings.
That said, it would be next week before I could payapl the cash/shipping to you so that probably would not work.

Gawd Dammit!!! He just sold it for $80 10 minutes ago. I find great shit all the time, I just never jump on it fast enough... I missed a RI USA Jazzmaster for $900 with case, easily worth $1200+, 2 days ago.
He buys guitars by the "lot". He never knows what he's getting in. He's got two guitars at the moment. A 1964 Gibson Melody Maker, clean break at the headstock... body routed for dual humbuckers... asking $250. And a Epiphone with a broken headstock. I just got off the phone with him, he said he'd send me pixs.
