B52 60W Combo Amp

Can't find my original tube-based combo amp thread; but anyway--any opinions on the B52 combos? Reviews seem decent and there's one on craigslist right now for pretty cheap. Let me know.

nothing to get excited about. I would not want to haul one around alot and gig with it for sure, but in a studio it might be OK. Again, not going to sound great next to your THD.
Al, what are the specs and $ you are looking for again?

I don't know if 300 is too much for you, but check out the jet city 1x12 20 watt combo for 299 new. No shippinh no taxes and a great combo for the money. there was also one on the IE CL for like 200 or 225 a couple days ago.

Well, the one on CL is for $250 so that seems like a good deal; and I wouldn't be hauling it around.
Basically, I want a tube based combo in the sub $350-$400 range with a decent overdrive channel. Not too particular about it overall; just a different flavor to the THD.

I was never a fan of the B52 amps when they were all over Guitar Center. The employees at the one in raleigh also always joked that if you left them on for too long you could smell the electronics burning. And by too long, I mean less than an hour.
