Me, then Reece owned the red model. Nice guitar for the money, the pickups were ace.
They have a thin neck, a bit like the Burns Cobra.

how did it compare to the Squier Vintage Modified Tele Custom II P90?

I think these come from the same factory line as the more expensive Wilson Bros. guitars. I paid about £170, which is a good deal imo. If you want better Mosrite style quality your looking at Hallmark Guitars or second hand MIJ copies. i've heard nothing but bad reports on the Eastwood version and the guitarist using one in a Ramones Tribute band i saw did'nt sound great and it was forever out of tune.

Hmm. Different beast really. I'd say they both have the same balls but the Tele neck was more solid/thicker and the sustain was better (as you would imagine).
The trem is a bit meh on the Aria but other than that i liked it.

Aye, I always liked the look of the custom/deluxe Teles and I wanted me some P90 action. It was waiting for me when I got in from work today. The jack socket, pick up switch and one of the pickups were loose (to the point on falling out in the case of the jack socket). There’s a big fuck off chip out of the finish on the edge which I’m going to sort with a little help from Halfords. But aye I think it might be a keeper...

Did you get the black one or the tv one? The black ones usually sell for less.
When i had mine i did a bit of research and they've got quite a following at places like TDPRI, i also remember when they came out years ago and all the guitar mags were creaming over them.

The black one, not too keen on the custard... aye 50 guitars to play before you die number 38 and the les paul junior was at 50? I'll have to take a look at TDPRI (when I stop playing Mogwai tunes).

Cool to see they got Eggle in there and the Yamaha Pacifica at 21. Not so sure about some of that though, where is the Ibanez Artist and Yamaha SG2000?

That’s the problem with other peoples lists they’re never right... ineresting but lacking
I mean thurston's - jazzmaster they should have stuck to guitars you might actually be able to get your hands on...
