Should I get this brostang bass?

I found a bass with a squier bronco body and a CIJ mustang neck. The pickup is hand made by some guy at a swedish bass forum and the electronics have been changed as well. The tuners and the bridge are not original and he won't include them unless I throw in some more cash.

He wanted 275$/£168/200€ for following parts:

-The body
-The pickups and electronics
-Pickup material
-The neck minus the tuners

As I said he would include a bridge (not sure if it's the one in the pics) and the tuners for some extra cash since he needed them for other bass projects.

What would be a reasonable offer? (Have in mind that our prices are generally higher than in US/UK)

pics didn't work for me until i copied and pasted the url, can't be arsed to repost them.

looks cool. i'd do it. that neck is worth 200 bones in the right market. custom mustang guard and pickup and it'd be almost there.

Yeah, the neck is indeed nice.

I'm not looking to make it fully into a mustang (since i've already got a mustang bass) but I do however want a control plate.

The pickup may be cool, who knows. If I get him to include the tuners and the bridge, It's leaning towards getting it for the price he's asking.

they all should. i copied all the image urls, and pasted them into the address bar. a picture showed up, but it was actually a page. i then clicked on that image, and it took me to the actual picture url. that's what i posted. they work fine for me.

Torn in half pieces of paper for me, dudes! Maybe they're all gifs and we're skipping the guitar frames.

Now they work. Success!

Cool bass. Neck would make it worth it I'd say, maybe a bit more money than it is worth, though?

Ugh. Why do people do this?

I think the Bronco bass neck > Mustang bass neck.

I think he wanted a mustang-looking bass for cheap.

I've never played a squier bronco bass so I have no idea how that neck feels. Neither have I played a CIJ mustang neck. The tuners on the bronco looks off to me though and I don't care much for maple necks.

oddly enough, not all guitars are assembled with you in mind.
