ok, this amp is soooo perfect. footswitchable gain channel, WITH tremolo (or tape delay?!), WITH REVERB. its a pedal head. 25 watts. and i think it has headphone and speaker emulated line out?! so versatile. i wish the trem was post reverb (maybe it is actually, but doesnt look like it judging the the footswitch location). anyways, i do want!

also, bass/treble would have been nice, but you could just get a preamp pedal of some sort maybe. or maybe theres secret trimpots inside?! that would rock

At nearly 3 times the price I wouldn't really call it a 22 caliber killer.

Although, it's 30 times more flexible and therefore infinitely more useful.

I'd definitely plump for this one over the Caliber.

It does have a lot of knobbies though. My 22 Caliber is really good and I love the way it's so small it can be put a way in a drawer when not being used. It sounds really good and is plenty loud enough for bedroom playing (which is what I use it for). Downside is that it is really dark sounding, even with the bright switch on, and if you're using a single coil guitar that hasn't been shielded it creates an almost unbearable amount of hum.

I think this Traynor amp would be overkill for what I use the 22 Caliber for but I agree for gigging purposes it would be good and the price isn't that bad for the features it has but it's in a different league of product.

so, are there no links or info for this available in the US or something. I am getting nothing and am very interested as I would love to find a pre-amp type pedal like this to keep as a backup or even to run direct at low key shows.

I think all you'll find is some forum chatter, like this thread on TGP. I don't think anything has been officially released about it yet.

I thought the farty/fuzziness was the best part!

haha, I love my fuzz but that is what I got FUZZ pedals for, the dirty chan of the amp should just be distortion/overdrive.... not fuzz...imo
