Augh, I hate articles that are basically about a big list but give it you one at a time.

Here's the whole list:

Nah the list is crap. Loads of them must be stuff that Music Radar sell or have a vested interest in. No Superfuzz variants, or FY-2s, or Ampeg Scamblers, Harmonic Percolators. MXR Micro Amp rather than the iconic Dist+ or DOD 250.

Ironically, this is also the title of my forthcoming autobiography. All of your mums are in it.

Hehe. But seriously, I make them cos of they're great effects, and should be represented in a list like that.

Glad they'd included the Vox Ice 9 Overdrive, so often cruelly overlooked...

*me neither expression*

Yeah a few odd choices, be good if they revealed how they arrived at that list.

No Catalinbread, no Way Huge, no Turbo Rat or original Rat. But have included a load of expensive pedals nobody's ever heard of.

Yep, I'd have had the Turbo RAT in there. Take out the RAT 2 because it's fucking shite.

i like the fact all they've done is extract the dirt pedals out of there 101 greatest pedal issue. there in the same sequence as the mag. not a lazy attitude to editorship in the slightest

and that ice 9 only been out five minutes

i've owned about five off the list, though theres only one i still own/use.

The selection for this list looks like "all time best sellers peppered with boutique hype and vitnage mojo". There's no utilitarian or hidden gems in this so it's no wonder people on this forum will bork.

Some of the top 10 is realistic but it gets a bit silly the further it goes.
