That amp is a metaphor for their new record.

Im inclined to agree. Cause this king of limbs is king of let-downs. Seriously, after In Rainbows, you come at me with this drivel?

HERE ARE FIVE WEIRD SOUNDS!
NOW TOM WILL SQUEEK WHILE THE WEIRD SOUNDS PLAY!
THE WEIRD SOUNDS CONTINUE!
THE SONG IS OVER!

Repeat 8x

the king of let downs? i don't think so. it's not their worst album, and it's better than any of the other shit you can go buy right now.

Rationalizing like that is like saying "It's the best piece of shit in the pile, just take that one"

I'd take offense, but I think you already bought my last album.
And anyway, Radiohead is supposed to make great albums, not acceptable ones. IMO being great and releasing less-than-great music makes said music even worse.

Too much noodling not enough songs for my liking, I thought they’d got the balance right with in rainbows.

Each to their own my friend; that’s the great thing about music if it sounds good to you then it's good. Radiohead have released 3 albums that I'm not keen on Pablo honey (with the exception of the creep single don't like the album version Thom can’t swear properly), Kid A (I just don’t like it) and this new one. Whereas the bends, ok computer and in rainbows would be in my top albums list.

King of Limbs is basically 15 Step from In Rainbows played slightly differently 8 times.

my friend in a drunken arguement with his lady actually compared himself to me. I told him, that' s like Chuck Manson saying, well, I ain't no Hitler.
