Discovered I need to learn some new scales and play tighter...
scale recommendations ? The clips above are probably a bit cheesy & uplifting to what I normally play

Ha, cool. I'm tempted to post a reply video. You seem to have a far better grasp of how to use it than I do. I haven't had time really to do anything other than have fun with the Auto mode.

Auto mode is all I was using too... start with the basics haha.
Think about getting a footswitch for it too, for tempo / stop. Heard they're really easy to build so I might give it a try.

Nice video, you've got some pretty sweet phrasing in your lead playing too

Let me know how you get on. I might well do the same if it makes it that much more usable. Basically turns it in to an RC-20, doesn't it?

You should totally do it - I've got one for mine, makes it miles better, and yeah essentially an RC-20.
A single switch will add tap tempo and stop functionality, a dual switch will mean one will do that and the other will switch between loops.

Thanks for the comments and switch advice. I'm a bit more practiced on the loopstation now. Love how you can just put down song ideas really easily and save them, and the transitions between the phases are kinda cool too. I'm assuming this is one of the things the second switch can do. See vid.
Think with the rc3 you can even transport the files via USB ?
