does the grub screw for the trem bar screw in tight or is it loose? i ask because i found a screw that goes into my 78 mustangs screw hole but is kind of tight when it turns, i only put it in a tiny bit to see if it fit and took it out, i dont think it should be tight in there right?

right.
so much in fact so that the things loosen themselves up over time, spin counter clockwise, and fall out without you even knowing until years later when you want to take some photos with the bar in that you never use

I wonder what the ratio of arm whammy and tailpiece whammy use on a Mustang over the years is. I'm going with 1:5.

I love that about the mustang. I don't need to hold on to some doofy arm to use the whammy when I can do bends with the heel of my palm.
