Jet City Cabs

Post by SGJarrod »

Are the Jet City cabs worth a damn?..... I have a chance to pick up the closed back 1x12 for $80..... I have been contimplating a 1x12 just for easy of transport for jam sessions with friends.......

Is the build quality good?...is it decent wood or cheap press-board?... Decent speaker?....overall sound quality?

Thanks all

a 1x12 cab for $80 is a pretty good in itself for a respected brand name. i am not sure about the cab build quality itself, but i would assume that they wouldn't slack off on the cab construction basing my knowledge off of their other products.

I like the one I had. For $80 it should be a good deal. Check like MF or GC.com and look at the specs for the cab and it should tell you the construction.

Id say they are great for the price. Of course they may not match a mesa or orange but id put them ahead of the vox or cheaper marshall 1x12. You could also mess with speakers etc

yeah that is what I was figuring, My only cab now is an Orange 2x12.... In the past I had a cheap Marshall 4x12 and it was complete crap and sounded terrible.... I just did not want to buy this cheap cab and have the same experience I did with the Marshall..

Thanx
