help: need wiring diagram for squier vista supersonic

help: need wiring diagram for squier vista supersonic

hey all

i havent had any luck finding a wiring diagram for a 97 (i believe) supersonic.


the neck PUP shitted out on me & the local tech is not an expert unfortunately.

i tried squier.com but it wouldnt open...strange.

any help would be appreciated

The one thing I know about Super-Sonics is that both knobs are volume knobs, one for each pickup and I think they are backwards from normal

I believe the knob near the jack controls the neck pickup and the other controls the neck. There are a couple guys on Youtube you might check with. One guy has a white SS with red pickguard. He modded his for sure.

I have one of the new incarnations and want to add a push pull pot and capacitors to allow for volume and tone control. I assume that the red and white wires that are clamped together will be my tone control wires. Anyone know how to solder this up on a push/pull pot?
