New project - Creature

So I swore off projects... but I've somehow tricked myself into starting a new one.
It started with my Blacktop Jazzmaster. I decided I love having a Jazzy, but I just can't seem to get on with 25.5 scale.
So I had Cooterfinger whip this up for me. Jaguar body routed for Jazzy pickups.
I'm waiting on a neck for it from Serfx (CIJ Jaguar neck).
I've since dyed it a translucent green and sanded it to the point that it's ready for clearcoating. Which will be this weekend. I'll post pictures of the dye job later tonight.
I've also enlisted the help of another scaler for a super secret modification I'm doing... more on this later.
Now I'm off to find the mythical Kurtz style switch plate so I can jam a 3-way in there.

i'm getting a machinist friend of mine to make me one, i'll have him make two and put one in with the neck.

Onboard Dwarfcraft? Onboard Torn's Peaker? That'd be bomb diggity; I'm totally gonna put some onboard effects in the place of my rhythm circuit (when I get a rhythm circuit).

Dwarfcraft Internet would be sweet in place of the rhythm circuit. Take the internet wherever you play.
This looks like a great project. Get the best of both worlds. What pickups are you looking at putting in?
Are you still keeping your BT Jazzy?

Unlikely. I loved the neck playing it in the store, but as it turns out... Longterm I'm just a shortscale guy.

We have had several threads lately about Jazzy Jaguars. Cool to see one being built. CooterFinger is the man. My Musicmaster keeps me so busy that my Jaguar and tele are getting Jealous.
I am going to do J Mascis Inspired JM after I finish my Two Mustang Projects.

Two coats of automotive gloss, finished with one coat of Artists Satin clear coat. At least that's the plan.

That will be perfect for a Jazzy Jaguar. You get the Jazzmaster 3 way switch but keep the strangle switch and Jaguar feel. Brilliant.
How much is your friend charging to make the Kurtz Style Switch? I wouldn't mind one or two myself for future projects.
