When I was in LA with Fredo & Roach, we went into the Carvin shop on Sunset Blvd (I think) and I played through this thing - and it's fucking amazing and completely BRISTLING with Features.
The guy said they were going to be $599 in the US which is a deal and a half, unfortuntely I'm getting a quote of £901 over here from the Carvin website which is bad times.

I would recommend this to anyone in the States, I'm even wondering about getting one there and having it shipped.

Demo doesn't really do it justice - it sounds fucking PIMP in real life. All the sounds, clean to stupid gain sounded magnificent and the EQ and tonal switches were so responsive and flexible.

Jason Lee...OR FLOCK as he is known, is actually cool as hell.

Next time you are out you should swing by the Carvin factory. It is about 1/2 from DOTS place. SOunds like a great meet up for you, Dots and I..Carvin and then Stone.

They make some good stuff. Their PA stuff is so/so (amps are pretty good), and their higher end speakers are decent.

Their guitar amps have always been solid if not great. Kind of like Peavey. in my opinion. I'll have to check this one out.

The Carvin looks great; 3 seperate channels in an oversized Tiny Terror? BRILLO

edit: daaaaaaang, speaker emulated output, footswitchable volume boost, different wattages? It gets even better.

Yeah, I love the volume boost as that gets rid of a pedal on the board. And I like being able to go from 50 to 7 watts. Want to record with plently of headroom... 50 watts there you go. Wanna jam in your bedroom with the rock tones kick it down to 7....

This seems like a goof piece of kit. I will have to check it out. Too bad it was not out a couple weeks ago as I went down to their factory/store about 3 weeks ago.
