... I'd be jealous. A guy I work with got this for the equivalent of a new Reissue:

I am a bass player, and I am.

This man is one of my bass heroes/influences... and I love his sound:

I saw it after he got it and it doesn't look that clean in real life. it's more like, road worn. It was a story like someone sold his Dad's bass and didn't know what exactly he got. he just knew it's an older Fender, and maybe he looked on the internet and saw what for they go new. Then he asked a little less. something like that.

But if you're not a bass player, that's the perfect bass to have because as soon as you pick it up, you'll realize that you can play bass.

I really wish there were more pickup choices for Mustang Bass. I have an Aero that cost me like $150 and it's good but it's not my favorite tone in the world and I'd just appreciate more choices. I love mine and I'd never get rid of it but it doesn't sound as good as my Musicmaster or Bronco Bass, not by a mile.

I know. But I wouldn't spend that much on a Bass. It was cheap for a good condition compstang, but not cheap enough for me, as a bass :) I paid 90 € + 40 in repairs for mine. shortscale, too.

Unfortunately not. They don't come to Cape Breton very often, and I've only caught them once. I think it was 2006, they had the Yoko Casionos with them; the Never Hear the End of It tour. Was great :) Been a Sloan fan since Peppermint... show could have used a couple more old tunes, but, hey, it was still good.

That is a nice bass! I played a lake placid blue '71 comp stang bass at guitar center. They wanted like $2,000 for it, which is incredibly overpriced, but it was really nice!

I love mustang bass. I have a fiesta red reissue.
The low string sometimes is a bitch about staying in tune.
