NGD Fender/Squier Jazzmaster.

First off, no pics as my camera is fucked and my phone takes crappy pics, but it is the butterscotch/black model.

Anyways, an acoustic I had picked up at the beginning of the year turned out to have a bad pickup so I had a $350 credit at GC waiting for tone of the local stores to get one of these in.

First impressions, very fun to play. Great neck, stays in tune, comfortable how it hangs.

The bridge is a little weird, and may be an issue for someone who does a ton of palm muting. As I do not so alot of palm muting I have no issues with it. Easy to string, seems to hold tune, had no issues setting up the guitar's action/intonation so no biggie for me, but I could ee some not liking it.

Now, as far as sound, it gets a little tricky. I am borrowing a mesa boogie subway blues amp with a brand new FANE speaker and it only has a 10" speaker. My issue with tone right now is that it si not very bassy. MY gut tells me that it's more the amp than the guitar, new speaker, 10" instead of a 12, etc... When I plugged it in at GC I did not notice this as an issue. I played it through a marshall class 5 and a fender deluxe reissue and did nto notice this. Anyways, my only complaint sound wise is that and, again, I feel it is the amp's fault but will report back in a bit on that.

Fit and finish are awesome on mine. On par with the CV series. Great glossy maple neck, slotted tuners, no sharp frets, etc. Just had to lower the action a tiny bit and adjust the intonation after restrigning it with heavy 11's.

Nice, congrats! I played a few of these before buying the Xaviere and I really dug them, both in terms of feel and sound. But in the end I just couldn't get over the strat jack. I have no idea why they did that.
