Anyone have any experience with these?

http://phantomguitars.com/store/product ... Cords.html

I'm looking for coiled cables and they are a heck of a lot cheaper than the ones Vox and Bullet sell, and I've read that Fender Koil Kords aren't any good.

I've always thought they looked cool, but I remember how much I hated those cables on old school telephones, and realize they would be no good for me as I tend to tangle cables up as it is.

For that price it would be worth a try. I may get one to try out.

I've been using a bullet coiled cable for a while now and it never tangles like a telephone cord. I thought it would do it but it doesn't. The downside is it's heavier and the coils are pretty big. If you stepped on it wrong, you could twist your ankle.
Most of the straight cables I have been using wind up on me really bad and during a show, that sucks to be messing with your cable. I've had no tangle/winding problems with the coiled ones.

+1 to both of these statementz

Everytime I start falling away from playing guitar I always want to down size my gear to the minimal but then in the process of selling stuff I rediscover the love of Guitar and buy more crap

I was going to buy one but they wanted $10 for shipping. Still not too bad but I didn't pull the trigger. They are a few hours away from me and I'll be going by there next weekend. Hmmmmm. I wonder if they have a brick and mortar store? I'm going to try to contact them.

sweet. if they do, please check these cables out for us :D

edit:
crap didn't even check the shipping. $12?!?! the total comes out to $33.25 (30ft) for me, for that price should I just got for the Vox cables (~$34/free shipping)?

I talked to Moollon's Mr. Park about curlies a while back and he basically told me that the rule of thumb is that they're best for those who either need to tame excessive highs, or basically have a bad case of teh Jimiz and wanna fuzz out all the time. I think I know what he meant. Kinda.

I've been using a Bullet curly for years, and it's done me well. Got it for a decent price too, so I'd recommend one if you find it for a reasonable price.
