Was at the guitar shop the other day and played this while shopping for pedals. I had been looking for a semi-hollow for awhile, but never had a chance to play one that felt right. Neck is just about perfect for a semi-hollow and the pickups are warm and jangly. Fit and finish is very nice, although I'll probably lose the gold pick guard. I'd recommend checking these Eastwoods out.

Huge amount of guitar for the money. One thing I liked is that with the hardshell case it came with all the tools for adjustments and an extra cable. I was tempted to get a Sheraton but the pickups in the Sheraton seemed sterile compared to it.

Looks like a nice affordable alternative to a Country Gent.
I would take a white one. Only Eastwood I've played was an older model Sidejack (CAR, gold hardware, bigsby) that I almost bought.
If you don't mind me asking, if you bought this guitar new, was the price any lower than the price listed on their website? I don't have any local dealers so I've always been curious if the price they sell for on their website is an inflated "MSRP" like most manufacturers have or if it's what they really do sell for in stores.

In the end I ended paying the MSRP of $479, but the store owner included the hardshell case, which isn't normally included. The workmanship on them, at least on mine, seemed worth it.

Yeah a Hardshell case adds quite a bit of value for sure. I'd say for a new guitar you did good, especially if it's the build/appearance/comfort/sound that makes it worth the asking price and not the name on the headstock.

FYI - There's a used orange one on the used GC site for 300$ . Not white but appears in tip top shape.. Jus sayin,,

Thanks, but I'm in no need of more guitars right now let alone more semis

Was asking about the price because I was curious what the pricing of Eastwoods were in general at dealers since I've never seen them for sale new anywhere.
There's a difference between "I'd take one" and "I'd buy one"
