So we've finally been able to get the ball rolling again, and have a tentative release date to be this summer 2011.
We've been recording and mixing the tracks by ourselves using Fredo's Mac and Logic set up in our own magical Swing Hailey garage.
There will be 10 tracks, and these are in order, but we plan on releasing the digital format first, then on vinyl after we save up some money.

The only thing I would say concerning the mix is I'd recommend making the kick stand out more (and the snare at points); it's a bit of a wash of cymbals at the moment and I'd hate to see you guys not sound as punchy as you deserve to

No problemo. A few things I've picked up over the years when trying to fatten up drum sounds that you may find useful:
-Roll-off/cut everything below 500-700Hz or so if you've got dedicated cymbal overhead mics; this'll reduce the amount of snare/kick/toms in those mics, letting you focus in on the cymbals only.
-Find the resonant frequency of your snare and toms by boosting a relatively narrow frequency band (like so) and sweeping it until the drum JUMPS OUT at you. A few dB added here can fatten up the most vital frequencies of a drum, a few dB cut can make overly-ringy drums sit better in the mix. Also very handy to quieten down an overly-loud hi-hat in your drum overheads, a mega-common problem when trying to make the crashes cut through.
-Aim to mix the toms, snare and kick at the same volume, then the crashes and ride, then the hi-hats. Many a good dynamic has been ruined by obnoxiously loud hi-hats fucking up all accents that the crash cymbals are providing.
