Germanium/FET hybrid boost. I liked the clips and Ikve always had a thing for germ pedals. Should be good first in line to kick other drive and fuzz pedals.
I've got mine and it strikes me as more a treble boost type pedal than a clean boost. Seems to give a serious nudge to both treble and bass. Can sound pretty good in some contexts. I've been liking it giving a kick to my Stephenson Stage Hog and Muff Diver. It won't really do a totally clean boost. Has a bit of a fuzzy edge no matter what.
I like the pedal but I think it is more of a niche pedal than a pedal you are going to have on a lot of the time. It is really well put together and finished, too. Very pro pedal.
I am getting really interested in the Tall Font Muff he builds.

I like the artwork, and the two colour printing, but that name is pretty bad. Fat Fuck? Seriously?

Well "Phat Phuk" is not the same as "Fat Fuck". To me the respelling makes it at least marginally better. It is in the tradition of pedals like the Big Muff, Swollen Pickle, Super Hard On, etc. I don't love the name either but it's not like it is to out of line for a guitar pedal. I remember a company called Metal Pedals was selling a pedal called the "Screaming Whore". That was completely unappealing to me (YMMV).

Phahaha that's terrible! In execution and intent. I've never seen that before.

Now I'm literally asking everyone if building a Russian Tranny fuzz is crass. Considering the main ingredient is Russian transistors, what could be wrong with that? I feel a poll coming on!

Oh, I don't know; are all the rest of your pedals named after their principal components?
