Hi, new member and first post:

Does anyone happen to know what guitar this is?

It is most likely made in Japan, possibly in Yokohama. I've had it for about ten years and I'm looking for make/model/year/value.

Do you have pictures of the back and headstock? I see some stripes running down the body, is it a neck-thru construction?

Why do you suspect it's made in Japan? Does it have active pickups?

Looks almost homebrew/DIY.

There is some Japanese sign at the electronics section. I bought the guitar at a second hand shop and I think it said Yokohama or something like that in the receipt.

There's a mild Vantage vibe to it... but AFAIK, Vantage were pretty good at putting their name clearly on their products.

Hmm its an odd one. I did a bit of googlin' and found nothing. Looks a lot like the stuff that came from the Matsumoku factory but I couldn't find any that matched. Nothing with single coils or that bridge design.

This CG WINNER has a similar headstock and body shape but the hardware is all wrong:

It has that generic late 70s/early 80s MIJ look about it.

Body shape is like a SD Curlee. Might be worth asking on the Matsumoku Boards, there were so many brands some are still little known as they never made it over to the west.
