I definitely would not call that mint green. Perhaps sinus infection green.

Well that's just my iPhone messing colors up.
I changed the picture. And really, the new picture isn't getting the color right either. It's hard to get colors right. I'm no photographer and cats don't stay still very long.

Yea now it doesn't look anything like it did when you first posted it.

It's custard. Looks like a Malmsteen Strat which is allegedly "vintage white". Not mint green.

Yeah I suppose.
I hate to point out universal truths, you know but it's generally true that:
1. The book is better than the movie.
2. The first album was better.
3. That guitar looks better in person.
4. You need to see them live.
5. She's got a great personality.

I actually really like the colour, and I think a mint green guard would really set it off too.

Awesome, dude!!!
Where'd you find an old headstock SX? I have the old headstock 25.5 scale SJM-62 (Jazzmaster knockoff), and i've been eyeing one of the short scale Tele copies... i think the new headstocks actually kinda fit the Tele style.
That color is raaaaaaad!
EDIT: watched till the end of the vid... Used SX FTW!! (I hope you didn't get hammered too badly with the "rare" old style headstock)

That's been the EXACT reason i haven't jumped on one yet.
But, at least one of them is white, which will make a pretty easy refinish project... i mean, so long as you like the black pickguard!

Why the need to attach a poncey name to the colour of a $100 guitar?
Surely it's just cream? Though the next is clearly Guido Orange.

Yeah but it's a short scale so people still hate on it anyway. I got it for about $70.
I hope people continue to hate on shortscales until the end of time. I like knowing that I can get a vintage in amazing shape for two grand.

Custard isn't poncey.
