I posted these in the DI-REE THREAD, but it was suggested that I should post them here in the Whore House also.
Music video for our super fun song Throb, directed by our friend Rob Frost:

Such a quick turnaround on this! Took us under two hours to film on Saturday, edited and on YouTube by Monday night. It has 3 dislikes already though soul destroying...
Rob also took these promotional photographic images of us. Here is a small selection of the many glorious digital tapestries he weaved:
Enjoy!

Cheers guys.
We're probably gonna send the video to some blogs and stuff, but we're not sure where yet. Any suggestions?

be careful not to include the video as the first link in a blog email, a lot of them won't even bother clicking it. best to include a link to mp3s or soundcloud first and stick the video underneath.

LIKE
Proper banging bass lines
-- interesting vocals, is that the norm fo you guys? or just this song?
Ops no.. just found your soundcloud stuff.. this should make the rest of the shift less boring (instead)

Thanks man. I dunno, there is a lot of the 'talking/singing' type of thing in our music. This song is probably even more that way than a lot of our songs though.

yeah I'd agree, now I've heard a few more off your soundcloud listings. Carrying on the good old tradition of awkward British punk vocals - an ever so polite sounding Jello Biafra
Good mix of Half Man Half Biscuit / Wedding present / Carter tUSM / early 90s UK grunge alt indie / Dead Kennedys with a glimpse of Pixies
Do AN COVER of Kill The Poor
go On, go on, go on, DO IT!!

you may want to shoot Shiny Grey Monotone a link. This might just be noisey enough for them to post. I'm pretty much their main demographic and I LOVED IT.

Luckily it was a shirt my friend (the drummer, in fact) bought me for 50p at a car boot sale, no great loss!
Thanks for the ongoing nice words folks I've emailed Shiny Grey Monotone, so hopefully that will be fruitful. I'll shortly be emailing some more blogs, etc... in a similar fashion.
