Who makes Jag-Stang necks?

Hello,

Is there anyone who makes Jag-Stang necks, or whatever those necks were a copy of (1969 Mustang?). It feels so much more narrow/thinner than the other 24" necks I have ever played. I have a project in mind and would like to know for future reference.

Thanks!

Also, anyone who can make them with a paddle headstock would be great as well (I have more than one project in mind).

Warmoth is the only place I know.

Didn't shortscale member Pens have a left handed neck made to Jagstang spec? I think it was either US custom guitars or guitar mill. I'm pretty sure they both make 24" necks anyway.

Alright, I found a thread on this board explaining the JS necks. If I understand this correctly, all Mustang and JS necks have the same nut width, but have different profile; with the 90s Mustangs and Jag-Stangs being the thinnest.

So, I could just slim an existing 24" neck. How much wood is there to work with before it gets too thin and you hit the truss rod? I assume quite a bit?

Guitar Mill does seem to do paddle headstocks which is nice. Warmoth will not do that with their 24" necks for some reason.

if i'm not mistaken Joey still has a JS neck for sale... so you may want to snag that, and then you'd have something to compare with for the future.
