Refretting

Looks like my bronco will need a full refret - i don't think a fret dress will do as there's very little meat left on them and some pretty bad dents in a few of the frets. The lowest quote i've had so far is 100 quid going up to 175 plus.
I'll very likely get it done properly, but has anyone ever done it themselves?
Looking on the bay tools and wire would come to about 30 quid which is quite a saving.
What d'you reckon? Is it a job to tackle myself?

I haven't tackled a refret yet. Slowly working up to it though. I think I would want to do a few
crappy cheap necks before I had a go at a keeper.

What he's saying is that you are gonna be so bad at sex the first time that you don't wanna have sex with someone you like, 'cause they'll think you're a weirdo for being so lame at it. So you wanna have sex with "hood rats" so that by the time you get to a girl that you do like, you won't be terrible at sex, you'll be mediocre at it. [pause] Probably still pretty bad, though.
Just substitute refret for sex and neck for girl.

the tools for changing the frets may be only 30 quid but after u change them u have to level and dress them, which is another set of tools.... Last time I priced fret leveling tools they were over $200usd....
I know state side a refret, level and dress goes for about $125usd
