It's too bad Fender did some cool shit with Guild for a few years and then stopped, nothing but acoustics now. A lot of Guild fans I know hate the Fender produced acoustics, I don't know if it's mojo hype but they prefer pre-Fender Guilds.
It's weird because Fender made the Gretsch guitars/brand better and made a huge commitment to it.

The Guild hollowbodies and semi-hollowbodies were the guitars I really lusted after as a teenager. the fender frontline 2002 catalogue had a huge impact on me. I can remember studying all of those pages and just wanting to play those guitars so much.

(I inherited a Fender F-65 that actually plays and sounds pretty good, so there are good sounding/playing Fender acoustics too
)It's just a shame about the Guild electrics.

I wish they still brought out new and interesting models, rather than the standard strat - tele rotation they seem to have.
