Just recently got myself a new amp and i was perfectly happy with it
UNTIL......
I casually went amp shopping to help a friend pick a new one out and i heard the nicest amp ever!!!!!!!!!
So i sold my new amp haha and went and got this
Its a Laney Lionheart L5t.....got it for £425 new which is a mega cheap price most retailers have them from £550 onwards
my local GuitarGuitar has it for £630 and GAK has it from that too/
Review coming soon but for now all i can say is wow what a sound!!! pristine lush cleans to awesome brit crunch sounds
and its fully handmade/wired amp with top spec parts built in the UK for £425
here are some pics(not of mine but same amp)

another Laney Fan, I love the lion hearts. They look and sound so sexy. It amazing the price of these and the fact that they are hand made in the UK where VOX are producing theirs in China and charging twice as much. I love my Laney but I would consider a Lionheart in a beat.
I look forward to the demo's

Very nice, I've always been a fan of those amps, but not the price - even £425 is steep for a 5 Watt amp in my opinion.

Aye. Also, I'd rather have something build in China on a PCB than in the UK point to point. It strikes me as an odd thing to pay a premium for.
Although, that amp has loads of features that you don't often see on small 5w amps, like EQ, channel switching and the likes.

I think the Laney amps are over looked and sound bloody brilliant. I didn't like that demo though as all I kept listening to was the backing track and when he was demoing the clean channel he had effects pedals engaged. I still think the lionhearts look amazing though.

The guy in echo and the bunnymen uses laney lionhearts, I think the larger one though.

I've heard great things about the Lionhearts, hell any Laney, but I haven't seen many anywhere in a 100 mile radius of my podunk town.

I've only had experience with Laney's 'high gain' offerings, but I <3 LANEY.

Thanks for all your kind words folks
it really is a beautiful sounding 5 watt amp
and it has a great deal of features not usually associated with a small amp
i have tried many amps and compared it to many the day i bought it and it was by far the best.
the other amps i tried included everything from blackhearts to Fenders.

I was only joking... but they are one of the great bands of the 80's, and the reason I have a Laney amp. A VC-15 and it's a crackin little amp.

yeah, like better bands to spend your time learning the names of the members.
