So remember when japanese Jag HHs were $300 for a day?
Yeah, I bought two of them!
We had a fundrazor (<funny joke spelling) and Shortscale.org gave one to Dots. The other one was for my little 12ish brother in law. He paid us $100 and He was supposed to mow our lawn all summer. HA FUCKING HA. We made the mistake of letting him have the guitar first, and we got our grass cut ONCE. Fucker. I knew that this guitar was much nicer than he comprehended, etc, etc. Rolled his eyes when I gave him advice. "What? it's a shortscale? whats that mean?"

WELL HERE'S WHERE IT GETS GOOD.

He calls me the other night (like 2 years after he gets the Jag?) and asks if I know anyone who would trade him a firebird for it. In my head I'm like
"You fuck, why would you swap your sweet ass Jag for a fucking epiphone copy of an upside down stretched out jag?" BUt I told him I'd look.

THEN I found a T-bird for sale for like $325! BAM! Buy the T-bird, trade the little turd for his jag. Bottom line, I may have $425 into this beast, but thats less than ebayz! VICTORY!

Hah, when I was twelve I was just learning about shortscales. Mind you that was 4 years ago.

Anyway I've been desperately pining for one of these great guitars since I saw this:

sorry, but you paid more than $425 for it.

$300 - $100 = $200 that you're out automatically.

$200 + $325 = $525 - (whatever you charge someone to mow your lawn once.)

i guess it's still an ok deal (dependent upon your desire to acquire one of these mediocre guitars).

Like this?

You said both firebird and thunderbird, but I assume you just meant the former. I'd just rock the fuck outta that over the Jaguar HH but that's just me (and presumably ends I guess?).

Oddly(?), I really dig Thunderbirds... but not Firebirds.

What price for satisfaction? It's worth it. You should have rubbed your nuts on the bird.
