I'd go with the strat. The CV duo sonic just never appealed to me.

The CV duo was a step in the right direction for Squier but it really isn't that great....It might be the factory setup that's turned me off them, or the meh pickups or the pale white neck.

I;d have to handle them both to make a decision on actual guitars, but based on specs and experience, I'd go with the strat, but only cause it's long scale.

I have a 50's Strat and a 60's Tele. There's not much between them.
Forget about the Duo.

I have a duo. A friend of mine has a strat. I love both. but... everyone plays strat...
