I am not really sure what the purpose of this thread is. I originally thought it would be a discussion about neck staining but after scrolling for 100 pages, I came to the conclusion that you decided to spew everything about neck staining you knew while simultaneously promoting yourself.

This is exactly the reason people are giving you lots of crap on the forum. You are not wanting to discuss anything, just promoting your neck finishing business.

I would recommend setting up a thread dedicated to your neck business in the Whore House section and people who are interested can follow your work and even approach you about having work done. Several of our members who make custom pedals have done so and it works out great.

I think you do great work, and I want you to stick around, but these threads seem like spam advertising and you won't make lots of friends or business with them.

I hope your business continues to do well.

I like the binding on the JM. Your necks look a little orange in the photos. I generally only use amber or tinted clear on mine.

I guess I missed something here. I didn't read the other posts. A lot gets lost in text. I don't see what's so objectionable.

Are these even different necks than in the other threads about this stuff? They appear to be the same necks and the same guitar that've already been posted... am I missing something or is this just more spam?

first of all, wait a minute, i just thought of something, you guys are acking like promoting this stuff is a crime, why am i defending myself as is promoting was bad, im new to sitting on my computer, usually im doing something constructive but im tired of the bbq and figured ill see whats going on online, i cant work on my stuff because i am awaiting deliveries on my pparts to continue, i come on here and its like i did something wrong,

are you guys like creepy old men just hiding behind a computer screen?, im not a computer geek and realy only used to use my macbook for recordings and video editing, but figured since im doing this stuff now, i should post it and maybe make some one happy with a great quality freaking neck you wont find somewhere else for half the price, seriously, i know because before i knew i could do this myself with my carpentry expereince, back in feb. i wanted a neck just like i make them now, and couldnt find one for less than 300 bucks, and i would never charge someone that much,

i even put my last neck i sold on my guitar, with the new tuners with it loaded, and freaking recorded it onto youtube so the buyer can see all the frets are level and the guitar plays perfect, intonation and all, to assure him, will you get that from another person, am i so bad, hats gong on here,

I'm on a 15" 2.2GHz quad core i7 MacBook Pro with 4Gb RAM... my system is plenty powerful.
Unfortunately, page load times have pretty much NOTHING to do with system specs and everything to do with connection bandwidth. 30 minutes is an obvious exaggeration, but hits the point. Even on a superb system like mine, loading your threads takes way too long and all the oddly placed images cause the contents of the thread to jump around all over the place as it tries to load. These poorly constructed posts are bandwidth hogs, plain and simple.

I've got a Mac, dipshit... and I even know how to use it.

Do you really think I'm a "hater"? Nothing that I've said in any thread has been a jab at your work, has it? I think I've been fairly supportive of the work... and, believe it or not, the post style criticisms I've offered (and solutions towards fixing them) have all been genuine. Others have said the same things I have, though not always politely... but the polite aspect isn't all that important, the message is, however.

I'm telling you, learn how to interact with people with some level of humility, humour and consideration, and your work will be a goddamn hit around here... but you're working very hard to sabotage yourself in the meantime.

The post that followed the one I just quote dissected would have been a MUCH better only response. This diatribe was just shameful and something of a pissoff for we readers. The one after it was quick, to the point, addressed specific questions and didn't come off as such a childish bitch-fest.
