Wanted one for a while and this wasn't the particular model i wanted but for the price i couldn't say no.

Fit and finish is kcufing amazing for a guitar of this price
and it sounds great too very jangly almost rickenbackerish.....very curious about danelectros 12 strings now :P

£80 new?
This come a close second to the Pro model in a sub-£200 guitar line up.

I had a Dano DC-12, and I ab'd it with a ric on more than one occasion. Hands down the RIC is the better guitar, but soundwise it's hard to hear a difference. Both are very even despite the jangle. Then I went and sold it for a Vox Tempest XII, which is completely jangly with no evenness about it.

listen to the Relics band in my sig, you can hear the dano xii on several tracks (lost in the woods, hey caroline, spill).

Hey, sorry about the quilt jibe by the way. I actually bought Nick's DC-12 off him and I can report they're great guitars. It has that jangly tone spot on although the bridge pickup could do with a bit more oomph to match the volume of the neck. Playability wise it's great, lovely neck and the bridge design means you can get tidy action and intonation.

Does it smell like sick on the insides when you take the back plate off? My 90's dano sure did. Kind of liked it
