I'm dropping my bronco into a guitar shop tomorrow for a full refret as the frets are knackered - does anyone know what type were originally fitted to broncos?

Vintage Fenders used 6230 fret wire, 6105 is just a smidge taller and may be a nice change in feel however. ymmv

Well just picked the bronco up, it's had a new nut,the neck lightly sanded down, refret, setup - plays like it should do now.
very pleased.
Here's some before and after shots:

What sort of money did you spend on that?
My Epiphone's frets are pretty low, but is just about playable, so could do with a refret.
If I don't sell it I might try a refret myself.
I think the veneer board and the value of a Bronco would scare me off attempting attempting that as a first refret though.
