A shitty brown '70s Mustang is pretty much my dream guitar, so my vote is FUCK YEAH!

A black guard would be an avdantage to the look too.

and not a bad price I might add.

*edit*

if you want to send me the money and have me get it for you I will.

I'll have to hold on to it for a couple of years but it'll still be yours.

course if it's what you really want, do it. It's your guitar and it's a reissue so do it if ya wanna.

It's definitely a mistake in resale terms. You could refinish it a more common Fender colour (surf green for example) and not lose much if you decide to sell it. It might seem silly to think of it that way as it's not a vintage guitar but unless you sincerely plan on keeping it forever then I would keep it in mind.

If you want that look because you like the 70s Mustangs, consider selling it to buy the real deal.

These are pretty much my two dream guitars... and if I could do an walnut stain, I would do it.
(sorry for the maple necks, I just love those)
