Blacktop Jazzmaster: Black or Sunburst?

I am not a huge fan of black guitars, but the black with mint guard and black pickup covers is hot. I wish they made a AVRI Jazzmaster in that color combo.
The sunburst looks cool as well, but Jazzmasters come in sunburst so often it's nothing new.

I think a black pickguard on the black one would look awesome. But as far as between the two of them stock, I like the sunburst one with the black pickguard.

Hated the Sunburst from pictures as it makes it look too yellow. It looks way better in person and some photos give it this lovely "Caramel" look.

I had the black BT JM with the mint pickguard. I thought it looked nice, but I'm not a fan of sunburst, normally.

I really like the sunburst Jazzmaster. If the BT Jag had come in the same color scheme, I would have been very tempted to get it instead of the CP.

i would pick the sunburst if it weren't for the tummy contour being painted black because of the veneers. because of that, my vote's for black with a MOTO 'guard.

Stock I'd go for the black on sunburst, but I've voted black with a different pickguard because tort on black is beautiful.

It looks off-white in that picture, but it's actually mint green.

Black with another 'guard. The mint on black was too bland for me when I got mine, so I covered it in contact paper

What all these posts are telling me is:
I should just get the first one I see (that's set up well), they're both Jazzmasters and could be cool either way.
