Just a question about this telecaster

There was this festival in Latvia, and there played some band, and I was looking through some pics what
happened there etc, and I saw this guitar, and i thought its a nice idea.

(hope You can see the picture)
So the up is gold in this case (I would like it black) then You have binding, and the sides are a bit darker gold (in my case dark gray something like that).. I think it looks brilliant, have Fender/Squier made something like this, or this is custom made, or if neither,
then just look at the beautiful guitar and hipster dude.

Well that guy definitely isn't in Editors so I guess it's OK GO.

I'm going to guess it's not custom but a vintage guitar. looks like some kind of telecaster custom. I'm not sure I've ever seen a telecaster custom with a maple neck but it could possibly be some kind of short lived CBS era variety. or could very well be 80s japanese. tokai, fernandes, and others made guitars like this.

Who cares what color it is, it looks like it's a nice guitar

Very pretty with the gold and darker tone, reminds me of a more palatable version of the newer Gretsch 6118 with the
banana cream bamboo thingy finish.

I think the double color would look awesome, but I suppose its too much in production costs for Fender to do it (at a reasonable price at least).
Because the Green anniversary Gretsch and this You showed me now, are the two most beautiful guitars, and they are made by fender.
Thanks for the input.
Now I need to listen to OK GO.
And search through some tokai's.

OK GO is a hella good band, I really enjoyed their album. Ironically, Here It Goes Again, was imo the worst song on the album yet they played the shit out of it on the radio and tv. Same with Fountains of Wayne, Stacy's Mom ripped ass yet the rest of their first album is gold.
