Post by ultratwin »

Fairly positive news for teh '65 Townshenderz

Good on 'em says me, hope quality makes this line a batch to be remembered for years to come...Very curious what these badboys are going to cost.

Holy crap! Those look awesome!

On a side note, if I want an SG with a p90 neck and bucker bridge, am I thinking of a BFG(fix'd)?

Those SGs look nice. I wonder how they play compared to the cheaper SGs and the (for a Gibson) 60s Tribute. If they're good Epiphones, I bet they'll be great guitars.

I've been wanting a 339 for so long. so long.

I fortunately never had to give it a serious thought because of the price. But then this comes out. Damnit, damnit, damnit.

The 339s somehow look awesome and crummy at the same time.

They need to bring back the Riviera and the Sheraton with chrome hardware . I kinda like the SGs with the p90s . Just hope they don't play like shit like some their stuff has lately .

Those SGs are pretty cool. I wish they did it in a natural finish though, like the Gibson special 60s tribute:

These look ace. I've always liked the Gibson Townsend SG but it's so expensive and I used to have a Dot Studio which I loved the sound of but got sick of the size/weight. I'd love a compact version like this 339.

Two great wins by Epi - hope they're good!

Trying to get my head around the specs, features looking good so far...

Intranetz searches seem to be showing the Epi 339's two "Pro Bucker" pickups having push-pull coil taps, and a 339-Ultra having a Nanomag acoustic p'up + USB output for direct tracking + built-in tuner (that theorhetically can double as a kill switch for teh Morelloez).

Wow, the Ultra comes with GuitarRig (very fun), and both have a slim taper neck.
