Some of them were great. Very old company though, plenty of Framus archtops floating around out there, and they're fairly easy to identify even when the big plastic nameplate has fallen off the headstock or the red script has rubbed off the pickguard.
They're around again now but it's not the same guys. Warwick bought the company and use it as a Germanic PRS, making booteek electric guitars and slapping £1500+ price tags on them. Up until recently they didn't make any reissues of older models but they've started doing extremely limited runs every now and then. So I gather they'll probably be £3000+.
The old stuff on eBay seems to be creeping up in price so you're looking at new prices for stuff that is pretty old and not necessarily very well looked after in some cases.
