thanks dudes! it was a tiny pa with only one speaker, but that's ok cause i am not the most confident singer, and there were only like 20 or 30 people there. =]

goddammit get your lass to turn her snare off when your doing that unaccompanied intro!
theres nothimg worse than it sounding like somebodies frying bacon n eggs behind you, especially in an EPIC intro like that one
other than quite a decent little tune when it gets going
nice work

Nice one old lad..really enjoyed that!
I recon youve every right to be nervous when you perform live! Our drummer used to laugh his arse off at my bassplayer and me quoffing Kalms herbal remedy tablets before we did our set ha ha!!..mind you, he used to smoke like a chimney beforehand!!..the herbally little buggers worked for me tho
Your songs cool...Vocals were low, but could you attribute part of that to the camera mic???
Tune reminded me of something by the likes of Interpol...which is win win for me and bringing the noize for your solo kept me hooked!!...likey...
Fairplay to your lady there for hitting the skins!....
I think it'd be a fab idea for girlfriends, wives and lovers to learn drums!!...Ahh we can dream can't we!

werd, but it's probably my fault. this is her second band ever, and she's borrowing a kit in this song. on her own kit, leaving a hand on top of the snare gets rid of the buzz (which she does). I woulda/coulda/shoulda said something, but this was our second show, and our first went awful, so i just wanted to get it over with, haha.

i love playing music with women, and "novices"
I'm trying to get me mum to play harmonica with me at my brother's wake next weekend. we played a little song last week and she was amazed she could do it. (she doesn't get the idea that harmonicas are usually in one key)

It's a Boss RV-5 Modulation setting ripoff. I own an RV-5, I'll tell you this: it sounds very much like it, though my pedal seems warmer sounding.
I suggest wearing your guitar a little bit higher, might help with the volume swells.

i think all behringers are boss ripoffs. i'm not surprised the boss sounds better. the behringer is like 35 bucks though.
i didn't feel like i was struggling with the volume pot on the guitar at all. maybe it sounds weird on the recording, or looks awkward, or maybe i'm just unaware of sounding crappy.
i usually wear guitars really really high. for whatever reason, i wear the schecter much lower. it's the most comfy guitar i've owned (other than peavey t15, though the schechter is a better sounding guitar)
