Ah.

I hate everything about it, from the snub headstock to the photoflame to the name.

And I actually like their 80s wanker guitars.

They should have just used a Fender headstock, they already do for some models so why not.

Also love 80's Charvels (especially if they have teh neon colourz). There's been surpisingly many Surfcasters (both Jackson and Charvels) surfacing lately over here. Personally I prefer mine hard-tailed,but those Surfcasters sure look hot.

But agreed, that new guitar is ugly and looks like something that guy from Nickelback would rawk. And it looks like something that escaped from Schecter. And not in a good way.

I love the surfcasters when they first came out but you could pick up a 60s jag or jazzmaster (if you could find one) for the same price (about £800). Mad really. but they look sexy & quirky with the lipstick pickups which were exotic as there were no dano guitars around really. I guess though they were a grunge cash in like the dod grunge pedal and a lot of people treated them with a large bargepole.

BTW I haven't seen the anyone mention the offset ESP guitars, I thought for metal guitar they looked quirky enough for me to like but seeing one recently in PMT I felt so repulsed I nearly picked up a PRS to try.
