Not much of a need with the Jagmaster and Jaguar already available.Medicine Melancholy wrote:Could they please just release a Squier Classic Vibe?
Priced at $1,849.99, the Kurt Cobain Jaguar aims to replicate the legendary singer-songwriter’s signature road-worn axe in minute detail, down to its custom controls, dog-eared aesthetic and visible wear and tear. Sporting an aged finish and dual DiMarzio DP100 Super Distortion and PAF DP-103 36th anniversary humbucking pickups, plus bound rosewood fretboard with pearloid position inlays, it hopes to replicate the actual instrument’s look and feel.

The Jagmaster is pretty far removed and the VM Jaguar is pretty much another Jagmaster.johnnyseven wrote:Not much of a need with the Jagmaster and Jaguar already available.Medicine Melancholy wrote:Could they please just release a Squier Classic Vibe?
I thought you meant you wanted a Classic Vibe Kurt style Jaguar, which both of these pretty much are - apart from the scale on the Jagmaster and the lack of strangle switch and no upper bout controls, but what can you expect for the budget price and who would use them if they were there? If you mean a Classic Vibe 2 x single coil 'proper' Jaguar they may not think this is worthwhile due to the amount of 2 x single coil Teles and Strats plus the Duo Sonic which are already available.Medicine Melancholy wrote:The Jagmaster is pretty far removed and the VM Jaguar is pretty much another Jagmaster.johnnyseven wrote:Not much of a need with the Jagmaster and Jaguar already available.Medicine Melancholy wrote:Could they please just release a Squier Classic Vibe?
Do you mean the Vintage Modified Jaguar? I don't want MM to feel he needs to go off on one telling you how wrong you are.Mike wrote:The Classic Vibe Jaguar is pretty much exactly what Kurt did to his Jaguar. He ditched/locked everything they removed.
I just get tired of all the variants, signature offsets etc. when I don't think we have basic proper models at a decent price point.johnnyseven wrote:I thought you meant you wanted a Classic Vibe Kurt style Jaguar, which both of these pretty much are - apart from the scale on the Jagmaster and the lack of strangle switch and no upper bout controls, but what can you expect for the budget price and who would use them if they were there?
