I'm thinkin about putting a p-90 in my jagmaster-- I hardly ever use the neck humbucker so I thought 'd put it there to get a different sound

I'm sure someone has done it-- can anyone point me to a useful guide or is it so easy that I don't need one?

Also, I'm planning to buy the GFS Mean 90

I've heard good things but haven't played one... how does it compare to gibson p-90s for example? is the dream 90 closer to a gibson p-90? the gfs pups seem too good to be true for that price...

got the mean90's in a sg and they sound great...but for a jagmaster u would need to make the pu holes in the pickguard larger.....

yup
just make sure you do some guide lines on the guard before you start to cut it..
i keep forgetting too, and then the hole is just way to big.

I have a Mean 90 in the neck of my Jagmaster. It sounds amazing. Changed the pots to 1meg ones. Probably helps.

Shame the rest of the guitar is a bit of a disappointment.
