I have this strat i put togther not to long ago, but ive got my 72 jap reissue strat back off my dad ,which is stock.

im just deciding if i should route this body or not?

i has a robert cray body in inca silver and a hardtail which i love but its only routed for single coils
i dont really have the cash atm to buy another body and finding a hardtail would be a pain.

My plan is to put a set of black prails in it, i already have the pickups but id need a new HH guard, so im thinking either a mint guard or a B/W/B one.

the other thing is i can use the texas specials from this strat for the old duosonic im fixing up.

Personally, I'd keep it stock. Abuse a MIM std for the prails.
The inca silver is too awesome.

Agreed, I wouldn't hack up a good signature model body. Grab a MIM body or even a GFS one to try it out on first.
I had a buddy with P-Rails in his strat, very cool!

your guitar brah, but I wouldn't really fuck with a sig model. Not like it's holy or sacred, just doesn't seem like good business sense when you can get another neck and body for cheeps.

yeh your probly right, i love the colour and hardtail and it seems a shame to wreck it.
i might change the neck to a rosewood one and use the highway one neck for the prails strat.

there is someone selling a squier standard strat for like 100 bucks, maybe ill get that and put prails in that, hmmmmm

or ill just wait till ive got some spare cash and get a mim strat body and neck.

cheers peeps
