which body/ bodies fit baja tele?

I have to replace the body on me stock Baja tele - it's very badly damaged - so I need to know what fits. I'm kind of gutted because I LOVE this guitar. The neck is the best Tele neck I've ever played.
Options are buying a new body (Axesrus, Rockinger etc) which starts around the £120 mark, or cannibalising a used complete tele (e.g. Squier), thereby giving extra options e.g. pickguard etc.
Ideally, I'd like something a good bit lighter than the Baja (which intact weighs in at 8.75 lbs, I think).
Anyways, any help from the Big Collective Shortscale Brain would be brilliant. Thanks.

I'd go for one of
this fella's bodies - well made, nitro finish, and his work is amazing, apparently. I'm not a big fan of refins, but get something closet clean. I contacted him about a possible strat project, and he was good as gold.

Get that Squier with the double binding and sell all the parts.

Those Squiers cost the equivalent of $500 in the UK. They are ace, but that's a lot of money to drop.

Aye, well that's the thing, innit. I'm thinking more of picking something up used on Gumtree or whatever - which is why I'm asking what fits?
And yeah, I also really like the red bound Axesrus job, but I'm no sure it suits a maple neck, really...plus I need something fully drilled, I think. The Axesrus ones seem to come drilled for thru-body stringing but not bridge, and I don't got a drill press or whatever. Rockinger are 200ish euros and look v good, fully drilled, but that's a little too rich for my blood, for sure.

Careful, it's not as cut and dry matching between Teles I've discovered. A Squier neck on an MIM did not fit at all in my experience, but a Squier Strat neck would fit and vice versa I presume. If you can, do a little research to make sure the brand of body will definitely fit.

I don't think red and maple are a bad combination
