MPC Amplification FP-5 (NZ '53 Princeton Clone)

I'm going to need an amp when I'm out here, and I was thinking about picking up something kind of different from what I usually play (small valve amps). Unfortunately, the market doesn't seem to be offering too much that interests me but I've found these. Delivered for $310 (NZ) which is about £150.
Any thoughts? Can't sound
that bad, can it? I suppose it'll depend a lot on what valves and speaker the guy puts in them. I don't imagine I'll bother changing anything as I'll only be here a year.

Reckon he's getting his Princetons and his Champs muddled up, which is a slightly ominous sign, but you can't go far wrong with that one.

He lists them on trademe.co.nz too, which is sort of like New Zealand's version of ebay as far as I can work out. The listing talks about mojo caps and rich harmonics and chiminess and such, which sounds a bit snake oily to me, but then how do you go about selling amps without using that sort of language?

Mojo are a brand of caps which wouldn't bother me, but harmonics, chiminess and lush are legit things to mention especially for a fendery amp. That said, a little boxy amp like that isn't gonna produce many of those things at all lol. Are there absolutely no other forum reviews or samples through google?
If it's a handwired clone of a twee little Fender tube for £150 I'd certainly consider it although it does seem too good to be true.

There speaks a man who has never played a Champ. Sweetest sounding amp I've owned.

There are videos online where the amp sounds pretty good, but then it will sound good in the videos on the guy's site. I can't find it mentioned anywhere else.
I think I'll go for it. I was thinking that if I could get one of the newer Champions second hand I would consider it.

I found a thread on a church music worship forum where someone has nice things to say about it.
This thread is now the number one result when you Google "mpc amplification fp-5." Small operation, then.

This dude appeared in the NZ Guitars forum when people started discussing his work, did you ever pick one up up?

He's doing Night Train and Tiny Terror clones now:

If you are in still need of a small amp I also noticed this tiny terror combo going cheaps.
