Musicmaster/Toronado bridge (suppliers) SORTED!!

Doe anyone know where I can pick one of these up in the UK?

I think you can get one from allparts.co.uk but I often find it cheaper to get parts from ebay in the USA.
*EDIT* I'm a blatant liar; Allparts UK don't have them at all!
But I have this

I'm 99% sure I've got a toronado bridge in my parts box that you can have for cheap. I'm not at home so I can't check but PM me if your interested and I'll look into it tomorrow.

Well, it seems that this bridge isnt quite matching the MM, as it is not a top mount type. You have to install body-through.
When you look at the end of the bridge there is no place to bore new holes, because there already sit the saddle screws..Thats the reason why the vintage MM ones have just the screw in the middle with 2 strings going beneath.

No one produces a MM bridge like the vintage ones. All the new ones have string through.

The vintage ones are great because you don't have to deal with drilling the string through holes and ferrules.
I am considering making reproduction MM bridges. The vintage ones can get crazy expensive.

You could just drill out the back of the RI ones instead.
Honestly, I loath the idea of those old bridges, with only three saddles. It cannot be possible to properly intonate those things.

tons of people play with 3 saddle tele bridges. it's good enough for rock'n'roll as they say.

well, as said, this dont work, that was my thought, too..but if you look on the back of the baseplate, there´s no space for the strings..
