Rare cyclone - thoughts?

Spotted this unusual Cyclone on fleabay - 750 buy it now - bit steep but the body looks beautiful.

those quilted 'showmaster' series they did were just disgusting. it's probably set neck, with all black chrome shite hardware, and MIK.

awful finish, cheap parts, and that awful 2 point trem. i had the HH version of the strat, and paid $70 and sold it for $650. 0_o

I've seen the Toronado GT version of that but never a Cyclone. A bit too flashy for my liking but i would'nt say no.

can't see from the pic if that thing even has a fender decal. Is it legit, and if so why?

It has a gold 'Fender' logo only, same as the Toronado GT model. They were Korean made.
Fender can be momentarily adventurous when they want to be, just not usually from their USA production line.

Think that Cyclones aren't exactly guitars that were meant to looks expensive...

But who knows... what works for me doesn't have to work for someone else therefore someone else may have totally diff opinion. Cool too.

that guitar looks shit strictly because of the photo-flambÃ©, not because of it's mustang body shape, black chrome hardware, or even the tele neck butt.
